First of all, I did not know you were a blogger Ty. But, you write about some interesting topics that are fun to read. You have a great outlook on running and I'm surprised you didn't talk like this on our winter runs. I'm starting to feel better from my ultra and we need to hit the trails very soon, preferably when the next monsoon comes around...

That was one of the most interesting blogs I've read. You should be a writer! I loved your witty comments and the detail you provided. It really did make me appreciate adventure racing in a whole new way. You guys are awesome. From your friendly adventure sports secretary, Sharon

I agree, a lot of people over-complicate running trying to make it into a competitive athletic event, or wearing an i-pod to mask the pain of running. To get the most out of running, its probably best to take the purist mentality. Thanks for sharing with all of your loyal blog followers (crickets chirp in the background, jk).

Yo, sweet stuff. Why so much accessory cord? 7mm? for cordelette's i'm assumming... still seems like a lot. And did you learn about the use of D versus Oval Carabiners? Word has it that D's are stronger but i see a lot of ovals there... haha.

Plenty of snow in New England to make snow shelters but I haven't seen or heard of anyone making one. Looks like you had a great time. So, what was the temperature?
